This came just in time for a road trip with my pup. It came nicely packaged, and took just a few minutes to install, including putting the 4 folded base pieces into the seat cover. I have a Ford F150, and it fit, but was just slightly too small. This came with two straps to help secure the sides to the doors, and straps that go over the headrests. It also had a tether to safely secure my dog while riding in the truck. The nylon zippers are smooth, and should hold up well. The piece that faces the front has a mesh opening allowing air flow to keep my dog comfortable, and to allow for easy gazing out the front. It worked well on our trip, and my dog says it looks great.
FITS GOOD
I got the car seat extender and was super excited because my dog is a bit nuts back there, and she has severe vision issues, which makes it very difficult for her to tell where she can step or can't step when the car is moving. This seat extender not only made it safe for her to move anywhere around the backseat, but it also showed her clearly where her space ended so she wasn’t trying to climb into the front seat. The part that blocks her is mesh, so the air still gets back there, and I can see her just fine, which is really great.At first, I was a little disappointed when I saw that the boards on the bottom are squares instead of rectangles, thinking that would make it not as strong, but I haven’t had any issues with my 60-plus pound dog running around the backseat. They spaced it properly so that they’re still very strong and do exactly what they’re supposed to do. Not to mention the fact that the mess—the hair, the water, the mud, the toys—everything stays in one easy place. Easy to clean up, easy to take out.
